GSA Unit 9 Co-lead
Azraa Gabru is an architecture adjacent practitioner due to her work in graphic design, social media and writing. She is a Unit 14 alum, has assisted with Unit 13, and has co-led Unit 21. She has a background in teaching Interdisciplinary Design and Presentation. She works at UrbanWorks and manages the African Futures Institute’s social media. She has an interest in cultural and religious practices, their spatial implications, and how architectural representation can reveal alternative narratives and readings of space.
