Professional Practice Tutor
Heather Dodd holds a Practice based PhD from the University of the Free State. She is interested in ‘tactical practice’ as a way as a way of navigating the ‘wicked problems’ of working in the post-apartheid city. As an agile form of practice this engages a recalibration of thinking about practice/ing as a dialogue between the intentionality of spatial thinking, research and urban policy – using architectural practice ‘tactically’ to engage, challenge and push boundaries.
