GSA Unit 6 Co-lead, Making Co-lead

Marize-Louise Viljoen is a scientist and registered professional architect. She is the Founder and Principal of Cáel & Co, a studio working across architecture, interiors, and operational strategy for hospitality-driven projects, and an Associate at Define Studio, contributing to residential and commercial work.  A GSA alum, she co-leads Unit 6 and the Making Module. She is the recipient of the inaugural Making Prize and the Unit 21 Prize and continues to pursue research that converges at the nexus of architectural making, tectonics, and the translation of methods into spatial experience.
