Lecturer, ADR Assistant
Simphiwe Mlambo is an architectural researcher with an M.Arch (Distinction) from the GSA, currently serving as a Lecturer at the GSA and as Research Assistant in the GSA’s Advanced Design Research (ADR) program. Named in Scape Magazine’s “100 Voices in Design” (2024) and selected for the First Pan-African Biennale (2026), her work sits at the intersection of architecture, spatial justice, decolonial theory, and emerging technologies, with a strong interest in how design research can address socio-spatial inequality in Southern African contexts.
