Sphelele Nxumalo is a professional architect and urban designer whose work is grounded in spatial justice, urban economics, and socially responsive design. His practice focuses on advancing equitable development in historically disadvantaged communities through context-driven, sustainable, and economically productive spatial strategies. As an urbanist, he approaches architecture as both a critical and generative discipline, one that challenges inherited planning systems while proposing alternative urban futures rooted in African realities.
