Designing Spaces that will Encourage and Motivate Individuals to Embrace Their Hair

Lab and field work explores the relationship, transitions, experimenting and implementing of ideas in

A controlled environment (lab) and a more practical and hands on environment (field). Providing safe and well quipped environments to put my hands to use by building models, experimentWith materials and testing ideas in a small scale, is how the Lab has contributed to the evolution andGrowth of my project. Being able to see the evolution of ideas through a show of models made itEasier to tell a story. With a simple concept of “build, sketch from model, rebuild again”, I was able to Get a grip of my project which resulted to a series of models and sketches, one with a more evolved Idea of the previous. Being able to test all of these evolving ideas and explorations in a practical site is what the field has Provided. Starting from a completely random idea and merging it with a site to get a point across, allowing the site to grow the idea is what was most interesting through out the duration of the Project. It allowed the project to use Architecture as a solution to a problem. This was then able to Make the project another one of the solutions that are meant to better people’s mental health.
