GSA Unit 26 Co-lead
Thandeka Mnguni is a Unit 26 Co-Lead and co-founder of the architectural collective room19isaFactory. Her practice focuses on the quotidian as a means of evidencing spatial politics within the township. Through media including sound collection, film, social objects, and performance, her design methods provoke alternate ways in which space is derived, instructed, and appropriated through performance procedures.
